The Masonic and Military Order of the Red Cross of Constantine and the Orders of the Holy Sepulchre and
of St. John the Evangelist
The purpose of the Order is to maintain and ideologically contribute to the masonic Christian activity which is based on the knighthood tradition.
The candidate for the admission to the Order must be a Master Mason and exalted to the degree of Royal Arch. The candidate must sign a confirmation about his Christian faith and his belief in the Holy Trinity. (Statutes 2020)
The degree of the Knight of Red Cross of Constantine is followed by the degrees of the Knight of Holy Sepulchre and of St. John the Evangelist. These degrees are conferred in a Sanctuary and Commandery respectively.
The meeting places as well as the units of the Order are called conclaves. The first Finnish conclave Fenno Conclave No 467 (No. 1) was consecrated in 9th of September 2000 in London. The conclave was subordinated to the Grand Imperial Conclave of England. Next year the Division of Finland was founded. The independent Grand Conclave of Finland was established and consecrated in 14 September 2002.
In 2024, there are 26 conclaves, two of which convene in Tallinn. Number of members is about 900.
